Weather Money-Back Guarantee
Cappadocia weather decides, we follow.
Roughly 30 to 45 mornings each season are weather-grounded. If yours is one of them, you get your money back or rebooking to your chosen date. Any operator-rate difference after consecutive cancellations is explained in writing before reconfirming.
The promise
If your flight is grounded by weather, you receive a full refund to your original payment method or rebook to any available date you choose. If a new operator rate applies after consecutive cancellations, we explain the difference in writing before reconfirming. No change is made without your approval.
There are no restocking fees, no admin charges, and no carve-outs in the small print.
Why weather matters
Cappadocia balloon flights are regulated by the Civil Aviation Authority. Each day around midday, the authority reviews wind speed, visibility, and ground conditions before issuing or withholding clearance for the next morning.
The decision is made around midday the day before your flight. Across a full season, roughly 30 to 45 days are grounded for safety reasons.
What we do
- ·Email notification by 18:00 the day before if your flight is grounded.
- ·Rebook to your preferred date, subject to availability and any operator-rate difference explained before confirmation.
- ·Or full refund within 5 to 10 business days.
- ·No restocking fee. Any operator-rate difference after consecutive cancellations is explained in writing before reconfirming.
Plan around the weather
We always recommend booking on day 1 or day 2 of your Cappadocia stay. This gives you flexibility to rebook if the first attempt is grounded.
If you only have one day in Cappadocia and your flight is canceled, we prioritize you for the next available departure window in your travel timeline.
Insurance coverage
Every booking includes EUREKO/Achmea travel insurance up to €40,000 per passenger.
Coverage extends to weather cancellations, medical incidents during the flight, and lost baggage during pickup or return transfer.
